SwarmTech is back for round 2.....

SwarmTech has been quiet for some time now, but we have decided that enough is enough. No more killing ourselves with day jobs that don't appreciate what you do. It is time to do what we love and that is to build high quality gaming, design or audio computers which will be used like they were meant to. It is time for people to see the quality and passion that the SwarmTech team have in abundance. No more settling for average crap and bullshit hardware that doesn't last or perform to standard. We take pride in our work and aim to please the consumer. Once you buy a SwarmTech system you will be in awe of sheer genius, quality control and just downright quality hardware. Check back soon for the first official SwarmTech systems which will be classed into 3 categories.

  • 1 - Gaming Systems (From extreme high end to budget systems)
  • 2 - Audiophile systems (from High end DJ systems to home theater PC's that suite your environment)
  • 3 - 3D design, programming and Analyst systems (From 6 screen monstrosities to view your stocks, to hard core render junkies)

SwarmTech welcomes Satyricon to the team!

SwarmTech would like to officially welcome Satyricon to the team. He will be our "International" liaison as he is based in London. Satyricon hails from the older order of PC users. An overclocker at heart and gamer by nature, Satyricon may be known to the older community of gamers as one of the best Quake2 players of his time.

SwarmTech & Hardware reviews

SwarmTech promised to do a first hardware review with the next update. However due to my "day job" growing increasingly more demanding of my time, hardware reviews will only commence in the new year and we hope to give you our view of one of the upcoming AMD Phenom II processors which will hopefully become a permanent fixture in the official SwarmTech AMD testing box. Now all we need is to come up with a way of getting an Intel equivalent system for testing and we will be looking good for testing systems going forward. Keep an eye on this space as we are working hard to get access to all the hardware our readers in South Africa are able to buy as well as trying to source additional stuff that may interest you guys & girls.

On a side note, SwarmTech will be holding its first competition soon, so check back soon to see what you can win.

Swarm Technologies cc is officially registered

Finally, Swarm Technologies which is the registered company which SwarmTech will be "hosted" under is officially registered in South Africa as a CC. We are now in the process of having a bank account opened in order to register with the local dealers and then we will be posting the first official review. Please bear with us as all great things take time to get started, but once we get going you better hold on to your hats as SwarmTech is gonna fly. For those of you wanting to give feedback, please sign up & post a message on the forum. The next update will be the first official review and the official opening of the SwarmTech Store. Till then....

After a long week of working on the Swarmtech web site, the main page has officially gone live and has been submitted to the various search engines in order to let the "spiders" & "bots" do their thing. A great big thank you to Roger for designing the banner/logo at the top of the page.
